The challenge
Car rental companies were running their business with scattered tools — spreadsheets for the fleet, generic software for invoicing, a notebook for loans — leading to invoicing errors and poor fleet tracking.
The solution
Fleet management (real-time status, inspection/insurance alerts); customer management (history, scoring); contract and invoicing management (automatic generation, rate calculation); loan management (due dates, reminders); reporting (financial dashboard, occupancy rate).

Unified management of the entire fleet from a single interface. Automated contract and invoice generation. Fewer invoicing errors.
Methodology and project management
Scoping centered on the real business pain points — invoicing errors, vehicle loan tracking, occupancy-rate visibility — identified through direct interviews with rental agencies before any screen was designed. The invoicing module, the main source of errors in the previous setup, was built and tested first.
Technical architecture and performance
An Angular back office connected to a Node.js/MySQL API, with a unified data model linking fleet, customers, contracts and invoicing — allowing a contract or invoice to be generated directly from data already entered, with no manual re-entry. The reporting dashboard aggregates this data for real-time financial and occupancy-rate tracking.
